Christa Ilse Hoffmann

3-16-2002 Christa Ilse Hoffmann - age 65 of Maryville passed away Friday, March 15, 2002 at Ft. Sanders Hospital. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Paul Hoffmann, of Maryville; son, Dr. Paul E. Hoffmann of Knoxville; daughter, Dr. Susie Ingrid Hoffmann, and her husband, Dr. Albert Shih of Winston Salem N.C.; brothers, Lothar Starke, Wolfgang Starke; sister, Renate Uhleman, all of Germany. A memorial service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at 7:00 P.M. in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Emily Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday after the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Maryville College in the name of Christa Hoffmann.
