Charlotte Louise Hancock, 83 of Knoxville, went home to Heaven on Sunday, April 17, 2016. She was born August 17, 1932. A devout Christian and Gaither gospel fan whose music gave her many blessings right up to the end. She was a loving and caring mother who was always there for her children and her dying wish was that someday her children would walk across the streets of gold with her. Preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Louise Hancock; parents, Charles and Phoebe Morrison; sister, Eula Morrison; brothers, Arvil Morrison, Warren Morrison and Ralph Morrison; nephew, Charles Stanley Morrison. Survivors include her daughter, Rita (Keith) Huff; son, Clarence Hancock, Jr.; sisters, Barbara (Bob) Jones and Anna Fields; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces in IL; ex husband, Clarence Hancock, Sr.; very special friends, Ann Patterson and Harold Pedigo. Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the E Avenue House of Prayer, 818 Drive E, Knoxville, 37920, with Pastor Jonathan Clabough officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Clarks Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church.
