Charles R. Hatcher

HATCHER, Charles R., age 87 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church and owned and operated Hatcher Grocery Store for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Marie Brown Hatcher; parents, Huse and Millie Young Hatcher; brothers, Jim, Bob, and Albert Hatcher; sisters, Cleo Lowe and Florence Bryant. Survivors include: son, Bobby C. Hatcher; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Sherri and Mike Walker; great grandchildren, Taylor Walker and Whitney Walker; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Darlene McGuire; all special friends at Home Away From Home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl White and Mike Walker officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment service.
