Charles H. Walton

WALTON, Charles Harding, age 82 of Maryville, TN, passed away at his home on April 13, 2008, surrounded by his family. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Army and was retired Assistant Director of Media Services at SUNY, New Paltz, NY. Mr. Walton was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Beatrice Walton and brother, Richard Walton. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Patricia Walton of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Carl Peconti of New Paltz, NY; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Gene Walton, William Walton; sisters, Molly Lewis, Beatrice Gambichler. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Patrick Resen officiating. The interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
