Charlene Hamil Patterson

Charlene Hamil Patterson, age 87 of Friendsville, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Asbury Place. She graduated from Wilmington College in Wilmington, OH and was a Blount County School Teacher for over 30 years having taught at Mt. Vernon, Louisville and Friendsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith L. Patterson and son, Philip H. Patterson. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Zoellyn and Joe Smith of Friendsville; grandsons, Casey Smith of Friendsville and Justin Patterson of Maryville; sister, Marifloyd Hamil of Arizona. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Friendsville Friends Cemetery with Rev.
