Carl Ralph Horner

September 14, 1969 — October 23, 2022

Carl Ralph Horner was born September 14, 1969 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England and passed away at home in his sleep on October 23, 2022.

Carl will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a well skilled gardener, an exceptional artist and a specialized carpenter by trade.

Carl attended Clifton Infants Primary School, going on to Horbury St Peter’s Junior School, and graduating from Horbury Secondary High School.

Carl started out in England doing horticulture work, moving on to construction work. After moving to the U.S., Carl found work in specialized carpentry with James Clark and subsequently became part of the specialized crew at Nolen Products Inc.

Carl was a huge supporter of Liverpool FC. Prior to moving to the U.S., Carl was an avid motorcyclist. When not enjoying watching football/soccer, Carl enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working in his garden and around the house, and enjoying a cold brew.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Kristin Love Horner of Maryville, TN, his parents Ralph Horner and Valerie Horner of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, older brother Kevin Horner (Karilynn) of Maryville, TN, older sisters Lena Horner and Dawn Crookes both of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, nephews Jay Horner and Luke Horner, niece Chloe Crookes and his beloved dog Bear.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
