GRAVES, Carl Frank, age 78 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2003 at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital. He attended 3rd Street Baptist Church, was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Army, was retired from ALCOA Aluminum Company, was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Service Club and was a member of the D.A.V. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ella Graves; stepmother, Grace Graves; brothers, Wayne and Albert Graves and Issac Green; sisters, Alice Byerley, Alene Cummings, Eva Caughron, Lillie Rogers and Illa Garner. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Nellie Long Graves; sons, Benny Graves and Gary Graves both of Maryville; special daughter-in-law, Carolyn Graves of Maryville; grandson, Jeff Graves and wife Jennifer; granddaughter, Kim Gardener and husband Aaron; great granddaughter, Kelsey Gardener; sisters, Nellie Cagle, Willie Jean Miller and Lucille Green; brothers-in-law, Bruce Rogers and Audley Garner; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends; special friend, Shirley Brantley. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Hickman and Rev. Paul Dyar officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Dotson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
