Carl Edward Cromwell

Carl Edward Cromwell, age 84, passed away peacefully at The Waters of Sweetwater. He was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Cromwell; mother, Brazil Patty Cromwell; wife, Theresa Morton Cromwell.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jo Stalvey Cromwell; sister, Nancy Cromwell Wieser; daughter, Julie and Dennis Cromwell Chambers of Louisville, Tennessee; son, Clayton Cromwell of Louisville, Tennessee; stepchildren, Sabrina Stalvey of Orlando, Florida, Chris and Ashley Stalvey of Madisonville, Tennessee. Carl absolutely adored and was very proud of his grandchildren, Treyton Stalvey, Kailey Newton, Zoey Stalvey, Nolan Stalvey. They brought him so much joy.

Family isn’t just about having the same bloodline or last name; family is defined by commitment and love. Family was what Carl enjoyed the most during his later years. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing Carl is no longer suffering. During his fight, his family was there for him the entire time showing him true commitment and love just as he has shown all of them over the years.

The guest register will be available from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, Saturday, September 14th, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 16th, at Grandview Pavilion for a service and burial.
