Candace "Candy" J. Haun

Mrs. Candace “Candy” J. Haun, 74 of Maryville, TN quietly passed from this life into the next at her home while surrounded by the love of her children and family!

Candy, as she was known to her friends, was born June 22, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the only daughter of the late Edward Kiss Sr and Lucille Kiss. She was fun loving, caring, compassionate and nurturing! She was a wonderful mom, grandmother and great grandmother! She was deeply loyal to those whom she loved and would rather do without than see one of her own goes without! She was a strong, independent woman and raised three strong and independent daughters! She was a hard worker and would out work many men!

She married Harvey L. Heath and together they had a daughter, Holly and a son who was still born.

Candy later would open her heart again and marry her second husband, Berkley L. Wade (deceased) and they would have 3 children together; daughters Sherry Goddard (husband Leslie) & Kerry Goozdich and a son named Michael Wade.

She would open her heart a 3rd time and marry Tim Haun of Knoxville, TN (deceased).

She had a huge heart and a great capacity to love! She received great joy from being able to care for others! She was always a friend to the underdog.

She was also an animal lover and had many dogs and cats over the years and leaves behind 2 dogs that she absolutely adored, Abigail and Brownie!

Candy attended school at the Cleveland Ohio Metropolitan School District, eventually getting her diploma. She went back to school as an adult and became an LPN and then an RN in nursing, unlocking a dream of hers. She spent much of her life helping and caring for people as a nurse, working in various capacities throughout her 35-year career at Park West Hospital, UT Hospital and Campbell County Hospital before retiring.

Candy is survived by 2 brothers, George Kiss of Pennsylvania and Edward Kiss (wife Terri) of Fairbanks, AK; Her first husband Harvey Lewis Heath II of St Petersburg, FL; 4 children, her daughter Holly L. Wade of Elyria, OH (husband Brian); her daughter Sherry Goddard of Maryville, TN (husband Leslie); her daughter Kerry Goozdich of Maryville, TN; her son Michael Wade of Canby, OR; She loved her sons in law and considered them to be as sons to her.

She has 17 Grand Children and 16 Great Grand Children, many nieces, and nephews!

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2024, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Rev. Brian S. Wade officiating. The interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Knoxville.
