Calvin Bailey Willocks

Calvin Bailey Willocks, age 95 of Maryville, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, at his home after a long happy life. His faith and trust in God and love for his family was always the most important part of his life. He was a life long member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Maryville. Calvin was born and raised in Blount County. He entered the Army Air Force in 1942, during World War II, and was a nose-gunner and flight engineer on the B-24 Bomber. He completed 50 combat missions in the North African and Italian campaigns. Calvin participated in the campaigns at Rome-Arno, Air Offensive Europe, and Air Combat Balkins earning 10 Air Medals. Calvin was an avid woodworker and delighted in completing projects for family and friends. He was married for 63 years to the love of his life, Lois Lynn (Noogie). He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Justice Willocks; son, Ron Willocks; parents, Tom and Blanche Willocks; brothers, Ray, Clem and Clay Willocks. Calvin is survived by daughters, Carol Farris and husband Tom and Janice Connatser and husband Dean; son, Max Willocks and wife Pam; grandchildren, Erica Moreland and husband Todd and Elliott Willocks and wife Jamie Lee; numerous nieces, nephews and the Justice family. The family wishes to express there love and thanks to his caregiver, Traci Cox. The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Longmire officiating.
