Buell "Red" Brown

Buell "Red" Brown, age 76 of Maryville, born in Blairsville, GA, on June 12, 1938, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014, at Blount Transitional Care. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lela Brown, brothers, James Robert and Arnold Rufus and sister, Anna Mae Norton. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Carolyn; two children, Karen Ogle and husband Ronnie Ogle; son, Thomas Brown; grandchildren, Kelly Godbey and husband Ronnie Godbey, Dena Keller and Brittney Brown; great grandchildren, Tyler, Christian, Jackson and Jules. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Carpenters Campground United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Tucker and Rev. Gilbert Harris officiating.
