Brenda E. Jones

Brenda E. Jones, age 59 of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She grew up in the Bearden United Methodist Church in Knoxville and attended Madison Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Mildred Boynton Jones and brother, William Alan Jones. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Rodney B. and Marilyn Jones of Alcoa; special cousins, Rebecca Cannady and husband John of Baconton, GA, Judge Ben Strand and wife Lou of Dandridge; several other cousins; special friends, Mary Jane Miller and friends at Whispering Pines. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James R. Green officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Knoxville, for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jill B.
