Braylee Graylyn Speed, 13 days old, passed away February 26, 2014 at Monroe Carrell, Jr. Children's Hospital Vanderbilt in Nashville. She is preceded in death by her great-great grandparents Arthur and Edna Waters, great-grandparents, Edgar and Louise (Bailey) Kivett; and her great uncle Melvin Kivett. Braylee is survived by her Daddy and Momma, Brandon and Ashley Speed and big sister Lena Grace. She is also survived by her, maternal grandparents Randy and Pamela Waters Speed, paternal grandparents Chuck and Wanda Jedlicka, Great grandparents Milburn and Johnnie (J.G.) Waters and Merlin and Janie Speed, Aunt Cristie (Aaron) Jenkins and cousins Isaiah, Caleb and Jayden Jenkins, Great Uncle Brent and Aunt Libby Waters, Beth Pankratz, Aunt Nancy Bryson. Dear friends and family Doug and Vicky McClanahan, Gary and Glenda Thomas, Joy Kimbrough (Joykphoto) ''Special'' Aunt's and Uncle's John and Kira Lichlylter, Nathan and Lindsey Payne, Laura McCord, the thousands of people not only in Blount County but across the world who gave their prayers and support to little Braylee. Braylee will continue to touch many lives in death as she already has in her short life and we know she would want us to tell each of you how precious you are and that because of you, her life was filled with nothing but loving kindness and prayerful support. Family and friends will meet at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 1, to proceed to Forest Hill Baptist Church to receive friends from 1-4:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service in the Church cemetery with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Braylee, may be made to Coats for Our Community, c/o Blount County Fire Department. Prior to the family and friends meeting at the funeral home, Brandon, Ashley and family will be at the home of Randy and Pamela Speed.
