Bobby Vincent Pemberton, age 76 of Louisville, went to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at his home. Bob was an active church and choir member at Calvary Baptist Church, Alcoa and worked for the United Cities Gas Company where he retired after 41 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mae Pemberton. Bob is survived by his wife, Margaret Raulston Pemberton as well as three daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and Dennis McCormick of Louisville, Gay and Don Mays of Oliver Springs and Marina and Dean Walker of Louisville. He is also survived by his sisters, June Davis, Bettie Green, Pat Clanton, brother-in-law, J.C. Davis; grandchildren, Ryan and Lindsay Watkins, Jeremy Watkins, Kathleen Mays, Mark McCormick, Kelly Baker, Jason McCormick. He had a great-grandson, Tyler Vincent McCormick; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church 100 South Rankin Rd., Alcoa with Rev. Danny Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Alcoa’s Building Fund.
