Bobby J. Taylor Sr. - age 65 of Alcoa passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Joyce Ave. Wesleyan Methodist Church. He was employed by Aberdeen Police Force in Aberdeen, MD for 15 years he has been a truck driver since then from 1975 to 1990 employed by Crete Carrier, Lincoln, NE. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959 18 months in Korea. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Taylor Jr.; father Ernest W. Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Bettye C. White Taylor; daughters, Anita Louise Duplantier, of Hawaii, and Cheryl Ann Honeycutt, of GA; sons, Kenneth A. Williams, of Brownsville, TX, and Gary Allen Williams, of Maryville; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; mother, Chrissie Bradburn, of Alcoa; daughter-in-law, Konnie Taylor, of Maryville; uncle and aunt, A.C. and Billie Cutshaw, of Maryville. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Daniel Mayhle officiating. The interment will be 11:00 A.M. Friday in Magnolia Cemetery with full military honors.
