Bobby Edward Miller

Bobby Edward Miller, 82 of Maryville went to be with the lord on September 4, 2008. Mr. Miller retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company in 1988. He was an active member of Everett Hills Baptist Church for over 60 years and presently a member of East Maryville Baptist Church, and he also served in the Gideon’s International. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary Frances James Miller; parents, George and Ida Miller; sister, Dorothy Hamil. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, James and Bonnie Miller of Signal Mountain, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Mitch Kennedy of Maryville; grandchildren, Sarah Miller Hipp, William Miller, Andrew Miller all of Chattanooga, TN and Kathryn Patterson of Maryville; sisters, Betty Hoglen, Mattie Johnston, Carol Ann Law, Juanita Hammond; brother, Jim L. Miller all of Maryville. Family and friends will meet 1:00 P.M. Sunday for a graveside service at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services following at 3:30 with Dr. John Franklin and Rev. Ted Witchen officiating.
