Williams, Bobbie Montgomery Maynor, age 82, passed away Saturday, March 24th 2007 at her residence at Adams Place in Murfreesboro. A native and member of an early Blount Co. TN family for which Montgomery Lane in Maryville TN is named. She has lived in Murfreesboro for the past 43 years. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, she taught at Everett High School in Blount County and at Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, where she retired. Mrs. Williams was a member and past president of the Murfreesboro Woman’s Club, and a member and past president of the Wesleyan Fellowship of the First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro. She was a member of the Col. Hardy Murfree Chapter of the daughters of the American Revolution and the Rutherford County Retired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert C. and Myrtis Montgomery Maynor, and her baby sister, Majorie Ann. Mrs. Willaims is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dr. John D. Williams of Murfreesboro, and one son, John Maynor Williams of Tampa FL. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The family will proceed to Magnolia Cemetery for a graveside service with Virginia S. Spurlock officiating.
