Billy Don Archer

Billy Don Archer, age 87 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at his home. He was retired from ALCOA with 41 years of service as an electrician, an avid sports fan, coach, referee, fisherman and loved wood working. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Kelso and Nora Archer; sister, Heloise Jones; brother, A. R. Archer. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Betty Archer; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Candy Archer; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Bill Gribble; daughter, Patsy Crye; grandchildren, Gabriel Archer and wife Kerri, Lucinda Archer, Chloe Archer, T. D. Archer, Dane Archer, Travis Breeden, Neil Crye; great grandchildren, India Archer, Ana Breeden, Kylie Breeden, Paige Breeden; special friends, Dianna and Allen Alderman. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Shady Grove Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Gary Lynn Bryant officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
