Beverley Pierce Woodruff

Beverley Pierce Woodruff, 60, of Maryville passed away on March 8, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. After living with Parkinsons disease for over 18 years, she has left her broken body behind. She is preceded in death by Grandparents, Claude and Jean Houston Bailey and George O. and Naomi Pierce; Father Kenneth ''Buddy'' Pierce; Brother Rodney Pierce; Father-in-law Charles Woodruff, and Uncle George Pierce. Beverley is survived by her Mother, Jean Pierce; loving husband of 36 years, Phillip Woodruff; Brothers Mike and Mark Pierce; Daughters, Jama Hurst and Leah Woodruff; Step-Son, Phillip Young. The highlights of her life, grandchildren, Kiley Jo, Dalton, and Marley Young, and Gavin Hurst. Mother-in-Iaw, Louise Woodruff. Her faithful companion and friend, Molly the Dachshund. Her daughter-in-laws and son-in-law, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Beverley was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She has a love for our Lord and Savior, as well as, making others happy, camping, entertaining friends, and fashion. She had a passion for life, a forgiving heart, a love for people, and was a natural leader/servant. She served in many roles throughout Blount County during her life. She has touched many lives and we are thankful that God shared her with us for so many years. The family would like to thank Blount Memorial Hospice (Ann, Barbara, Tabitha, Terry), Blount Discount Pharmacy, and several faithful care providers (Pat, Tammy, Kelly, and Ms. Ethel) that we call family for all their help while caring for her. The family asks that you join us in celebrating her life in a service at McCammon-Ammons Click Funeral Home at 220 W. Broadway Ave. Maryville. Funeral will be at 12 oclock(noon) on March 11th with receiving friends to immediately follow. Please make any memorials to Blount County Schools Elementary Text Book Fund, 831 Grandview Dr., Maryville TN 37803 and Blount Memorial Hospice Mercy Fund, c/o BMH Foundation, 907 East Lamar Alexander Pkwy Maryville TN 37804. Our family would like to thank our family, friends, and the community for all the prayers and love you have shown her and us through the years. Please put on your bright colors, favorite hats, grab a smile, and bring lots of love as we CELEBRATE the Life of Beverley Woodruff.
