Bettye Sue Millsaps Thomas - Our beloved mother shut her eyes on earth and opened them in Heaven Thursday, January 3, 2019. She was surrounded by her children and family. Shes preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Thomas; son-in-law, Tony Daniels; parents, Uel and Annie Millsaps; brother, Larry Millsaps; sisters, Joanne Munsey and Mildred Hill. Survived by son, Doug (Kay) Thomas; daughters, Pam (Wendell) Tipton and Penny (Hal) Helms; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Deane Bradford. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Nancy and Ashley from Covenant hospice, Dr. R. Michael Green and the Trinity Health Staff. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. David Oliver officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Axleys Chapel Cemetery for the interment service.
