Betty Lou Snider

May 7, 1924 — September 11, 2014

Betty Lou Snider, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Little Creek Sanitarium in Knoxville. She was a devoted wife. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church, Green Meadow Country Club and was a homemaker and seamstress. She was preceded in death by her mother, Verna Maude Thomas and father, Edward Daniel Germaine; sister, Lora Germaine Viall; and daughter, Linda Sue (Snider) Wanamaker. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Paul Dalton Snider; sisters, Nora Fagan and Helen Rosalee Martin; grandchildren, Rebecca Leah Wanamaker Williams, Paul Daniel Wanamaker, Rachel Lynn Wanamaker Brimer and Elizabeth Grace Wanamaker Hughes; great grandchildren, Madison Rose Wanamaker, Parker Dallas Bartlett, Meredith Grace Williams, Amelia Joy Williams, Victoria Faith Williams, Lake Richards Wanamaker, Zoey Grace Hughes and Grady Joseph Wanamaker. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Maryville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Catherine Nance officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. The interment will be at a later date in Ohio.
