Betty June Whitehead

Betty June McDonald Whitehead, age 83 of Maryville, died Monday November 16, 2015 at her home. She was a member of Mountain View Church of God, volunteered at Chilhowee View Community Center over 25 years, and served as Church organist 50 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Wade McDonald and mother, Mary Martin McDonald. Survivors include her husband, Homer Whitehead; son, Dale Whitehead (Leisa) and brother, Glenn McDonald (Mary), several nieces and nephews. At Betty's request the family will not be receiving friends. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 Thursday at Grandview Mausoleum for service with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.mccammonammonsclick.com.
