Betty Jo Douglass Daguio

May 24, 1937 — June 30, 2014

Betty Jo (Douglass) Daguio, age 77 of Maryville, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church, sang with the Transformers and was a volunteer at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben Blankenship and Emil Daguio; parents, Albert and Essie Mae Self Douglass; sister, Essie Ruth Fraker; brother, Edward Douglass. Survivors include her son, Doug Blankenship; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Sam Cupp; grandson, Samuel Cupp; sister, Alberta Douglass of Knoxville; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Freddie Douglass of KY; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Franklin officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Mausoleum at 2:00 p.m. Sunday for an entombment service.
