Bertha Arletta Kirby

Bertha Arletta Morgan Kirby, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 3, 2011, in Harvey, IL. She was a former employee of Fisher Body in Willow Springs, IL. After moving to Louisville, she retired from the Hilton Hotel in Knoxville. She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Posen, IL and continued to support Oak View Baptist Church in Walland. Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Beluah Morgan; brothers, Otis Morgan, Earl Morgan and Carl Morgan; sisters, Louise Jackson, Frances Patterson, and Lois Tuder; husband of 49 years, Eugene Kirby. Survived by siblings, Stella Scarbrough and Walter Morgan; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bob Dunivant; son and daughter-in-law, James and Kathy Kirby; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Mike Lannan, Susan and Timothy Lannan all of IL; 10 grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow in Oak View Cemetery.
