Bernice Riddle Cooper Tipton

TIPTON, Bernice Riddle Cooper, age 71 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church for over 50 years where she delighted in the work with children for the furtherment of the Kingdom of God. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Tipton was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Cooper and parents, Grady and Adra Riddle. Survivors include her husband, Bob Tipton; daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Jady McCroskey; stepsons, James Tipton and wife Geraldine of Maryville, Robert Tipton and wife Jenny of Huntsville; grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Darrell and Missy McCroskey, Dennis and Sarah McCroskey; step grandsons, Matt and Brandon Tipton; great grandchildren, Johnathan and Josy McCroskey, Miranda and Braden McCroskey; sister, Thelma Rudder of New Market; sisters and brothers-in-law, Juanita and Claude Rudder of New Market, Lorene and Melvin Ingram of Knoxville; brother, Hubert Riddle of New Market; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Nora Riddle; special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Webster and Pastor Chuck Young officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
