Benjamin R. Mills

Benjamin Riley Mills - age 84 of Maryville passed away Sunday morning July 6, 2003 shortly before 9:00 A.M. at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. He was retired from ALCOA with 47 years of service and was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Service Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Mills and Myrtle Brown Mills; brother, Robert Joseph Mills. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Patterson Mills; sons, Ron Mills and wife Linda R. Mills, of Smyrna, GA, Jeff Mills and wife Linda A. Mills, of Sevierville; daughters, Becky Hartgrove and husband Henry Hartgrove, Jeanne Mills, all of Maryville; grandsons, Todd Hartgrove and wife Karen, Doug Mills and wife Tricia, Sean Mills, all of Maryville, Ben Mills, and Nathan Mills, of Sevierville; great-grandchildren, Morgan, James Clay, and Madison Hartgrove, of Maryville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edd Mills, Clifford and, Cleo Mills, Dot Mills of Maryville; sister, Margaret Pugh, of Toledo, OH. Funeral services will be 7:30 P.M. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Marvin Gass, and Rev. Carl White officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 7:30 at the funeral home.
