Benada Sexton

Benada Sexton, 77, of Louisville, TN, formerly of Friendsville, TN, passed away March 23, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Benton and Lucille Sexton. Survived by brothers, Ray F. Sexton of Athens, GA, Lynn E. Sexton (Pat) of Knoxville, TN; sister, Bette Estes Sanders (Gene) of Knoxville, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Friendsville Academy, and for fifty years was a receptionist for the law firms of Jenkins & Jenkins, and Ambrose, Wilson, Grimm and Durand in Knoxville, TN. She was a very loyal employee and enjoyed her work very much. She was a devoted Aunt to her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, never forgetting a birthday or any occasion for congratulations. She was a life-long devoted member of Friendsville Friends Church, active as choir member, Sunday School teacher and serving on Ministry and Council. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home on Broadway, Maryville, TN. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Friendsville Friends Church with Rev. Larry Fowler officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Friendsville Friends Church, Friendsville, TN.
