Ben Howard Young

Ben Howard Young passed away November 17, 2022, at his home in Maryville. He was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Young and mother, Julia Mays Young; brothers, Max H., Jack G., James F., and Dr William C. Young.

Survivors include his daughter, Leah D. Burton (Jeff); son, Ben H. Young, Jr. (Kim); grandchildren, Jared Burton (Taylor), Delaney Smith (Devin); great-grandson, Walker Smith; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 PM, Monday, November 21st at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 6:00 PM, Rev. Jonathan Jonas officiating. Family and friends will meet for the interment on Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Cloverhill Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The (Really Old Men Eating Out) ROMEO Club will be honorary pallbearers.
