Barry E. Woods

Barry E. Woods, age 69 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015, at his home. He loved preaching the Gospel, serving the Lord, was a prayer warrior and a great piano player. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Anderson Woods and Ruby Jo Miller Woods. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Carpenter Woods; son, Thomas Barry Woods; grandson, Jesse B. Woods; brother, Stephen Woods and wife Pam; sister, Sharon Dunn of South Carolina; brothers-in-law, John Lee Carpenter and wife Shirley of Robbinsville, NC and Kyle Carpenter; sisters-in-law, Lydia Plemons and husband David and Donna Smith and husband Stuart; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Garner officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
