Barbara Smith Spears

Barbara Smith Spears, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014, at her home. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, was an avid sports fan and adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver K. Spears, Jr.; parents, Roscoe Alvin and Lucile Badgett Smith; brothers, Col. E. N. Smith and Dr. Alvin Smith; sister, Janice Roberts; son-in-law, Al Boling. Survivors include her children, Kelly Spears and wife Donna, Mike Spears and wife Helen, Melinda Boling, Tommy Spears and wife Sandy; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; best friend, Candy Keller; 3 nieces and one nephew. A private interment was held and a Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
