Barbara R. Bavender

Barbara R. Bavender, age 72 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was of Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Bavender; parents, Enmon and Artie Willoughby Bowling; infant brother, Fred Bowling. Survivors include her sisters, Julia Brown of Helenwood, TN, Ruth Genivee Doss of Jamestown, TN; brothers, John Bowling and wife Beverly of Maryville, David Bowling and wife Wanda of Elgin, TN, Mark Bowling of New Castle, IN; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Friday officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jill B.
