Barbara May Leonard Green

Barbara May Leonard Green, age 83 of Maryville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 21, 2024, at her home. She loved the mountains, the river, Cades Cove and her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and being outside. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cecil “Bud” Green; parents, Theron Dennis Leonard and Beatrice Stewart Leonard; sisters, Martha Lorain Thurman, Mary Leonard Lawson, Janet Leonard Bryant.

She is survived by her son, Craig LeQuire (Deana) of Maryville; daughters, Missy LeQuire of New Market, Karen Yarber (Greg Freeman), Karol Rogue, Kim Watson (Doug) all of Madisonville; grandchildren, Emily, Wendy, Joshua, Courtney, Jessica, Stephen, Elizabeth, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Allie, Natalie, Preston, Colton, Lones, Mads, Taylynn, Dagny; brother, Theron Stewart Leonard of Florida; missed by special friends, Carla Jackson, Kim Gorman, Sarah Roberts; several nieces and nephews; beloved and faithful dog, Bambi.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, March 1, 2024, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and the service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Billy Hearon and Pastor Gary Hawley officiating.
