Barbara Gibbs, a loving mother and grandmother. Barbara started working at Levi jeans before earning her degree in nursing to take care of those in our community. During that time, she started a family with her two kids Charles and Rhonda. Later on, she married Robbie, and his children Greg and Julie became a part of her family. After retiring her 20-year career she traveled the country with her husband. They drove to different Nascar races to see her favorite racer, Rusty Wallace. Also driving to the California coast and the bright lights of Las Vegas. When the holidays came around her house was the place to go to, her kitchen was well used and cared for. Leftovers were hard to come by and her dessert was highly sought after. Laughter followed in her path wherever she went and those who met her will always know her kindness. She would take her grandchildren, Brian and Morgan, to the movies as many weekends as she could. She took the art of being a grandmother to heart and spoiled them whenever she had the chance. When she wasn't taking in her view of the mountains, gardening or painting she went down to the beach soaking up the sun. The warmth of the beach was one of her special places to go with Rhonda and Brian. Her faith was a large part of her life, she spent her time reading the Bible and doing puzzles later in life. She built roaring fires to keep herself warm during the winter and enjoyed visits from her close ones. Though she is no longer on this Earth there is no doubt in our minds that she's anywhere else but beside God and her loved ones. Spending her time painting, enjoying the sun and gardening.
