HOUSEHOLDER, Barbara Ann “Bobbie”, age 74 of Alcoa, passed away quietly on Wednesday, August 21, 2002, after a courageous struggle with cancer. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, and she retired as an Executive Vice President of the Blount County Chamber of Commerce after 33 years of service. She gave her all to her family, church, and community. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Glen; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Janet of Louisville, KY; son, Alan of Cosby, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Darrell Eastridge of Alcoa; grandchildren, Cindy and Brian Householder of Louisville, KY and Jeff and Amy Eastridge of Alcoa; sister, Grace Goode of Maryville; brother, Richard Hubbs of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday at Broadway United Methodist Church with Rev. James Dougherty officiating. A private graveside service will be held Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Friday at Broadway United Methodist Church, Maryville.
