KING, B. N., age 72 of Maryville, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2002, at Fairpark Healthcare Center. He served for 3 years with the U. S. Army during the Korean War, receiving a Purple Heart with a V for valor, and was retired from the Maintenance Department of the Fairfax County Public Schools in Fairfax, VA. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Bell. Survivors include: wife, Kate R. “Katie” King; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Virgil Bell of Maryville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, John William and Sue King of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Robert and Lisa Cross, Amanda and Adam King, Sarah, Christina and Nathan Bell; brother, Wayne Satterfield of Michigan; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Rita Satterfield of Michigan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Grapel and Clyde Verner of Virginia, Shirley and James Harris of Copper Hill, TN, Vera and Lynn Lefevre of North Carolina; sister, Grace Loudermilk of Turtletown, TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clyde and Mary Reaves; brother-in-law, Dale Reaves; sisters-in-law, Ruth Horne and UnaV Reaves; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gean and Tommy Ensor; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow in Centenary Cemetery.
