Arthur ''Art'' Howell Walker

Arthur (Art) Howell Walker, 49 of Maryville, went to rejoice with his Lord and Savior on August 20, 2008, after an extended illness. He was a faithful member and Deacon of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Art was preceded in death by his Dad, Edward L. Walker; Grandparents, Harvey and Florence Sullivan and Albert and Ora Walker. Art leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years, Tamra (Potter) Walker; Son, Jared Walker; Daughter, Kelsi Walker; Mother, Shirley Walker Webb; Sister, Brother-in-law and nieces, Amy (Walker), Gary, Brooke and Ashlee King; Brother, Andre’ Walker; Mother/Father-in-law, Margaret and Homer Potter; Sister/Brother-in-law, Kelly (Potter) and Robert Simerly and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Art had numerous friends and a very special Church family that loved him and supported him through his illness. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. To know Art was to love him. His sense of humor, constant playfulness and caring heart will always be remembered. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adrian Jones and Rev. Bill Grindstaff officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
