Arnold Royal Tipton

TIPTON, Arnold Royal, age 74 of Maryville, went to be with his heavenly father on Sunday, January 26, 2003. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church, was a veteran of the Korean War, was retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 Year Service Club. Survivors include: wife, Barbara Yearout Tipton; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Barbara Tipton; daughter and son-in-law, Dena and Robert Henry; son, Don Tipton; eight grandchildren, Travis Tipton, Tracie Tipton, Amy Sellers, Clay Sellers, Diedra Murphy, Zachary Tipton, Adam Henry, Aaron Henry; 2 great grandchildren, Gage Murphy and Aaron Tipton; brothers and sisters, Juanita Myers, Jean Teffeteller, Evelyn Freeman, Helen King, Charles Tipton, and J. T. Tipton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Mayme Tipton and sister, Thelma Monaco. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Conde officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Prospect Cemetery for a military graveside service.
