Anthony "Tony" Richard Saunooke

Anthony "Tony" Richard Saunooke, age 38 of Cherokee, NC, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, in NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard K. and Mary Joan Robinson Saunooke. Everyone who ever met Tony instantly liked him and his wonderful charisma. He was a gentleman that still believed in opening doors for a lady and was a gentle soul. He never met a stranger. He always made you feel better no matter how bad something was. Tony will be greatly missed and was loved by his family very much. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Natalie and Roger Bivens of Maryville; aunts, Marion "Jody" Saunooke Taylor and husband Jonah of Cherokee, NC, Lynda Saunooke and Laura Saunooke both of Robbinsville, NC; cousins, Tracey Saunooke and fianc Sonny Holder of Robbinsville, NC, Jason Taylor and wife Selena of Cherokee, NC and Michael Robinson of Knoxville; fiancee, Amber Carlson of FL. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7:00 pm. Family and friends will meet 3:00 pm Thursday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
