Annie Laurie Kimble Trotter

December 10, 1914 — June 5, 2008

TROTTER, Annie Laurie Kimble, age 93, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008, at the home of her daughter. She was a resident of Shannondale Retirement Community. Anne graduated from Alcoa High School in 1932, and Draughon's Business College in 1933. She retired from the Aluminum Company of America with 34 years of service in the accounting department. She was a member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church, serving as church treasurer for 34 years. She was also active as a board member, and involved in a quilting group, Sunday school and Bible studies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave F. Trotter; parents, Pearl F. Carter Kimble and William H. Kimble; one brother, J. Carter Kimble; three sisters, Gladys Kimble Hitch, Ruth Kimble Jobe, and Joyce Kimble. Anne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Emily (Ejie) Trotter Beightol and Alfred Kent Beightol of Maryville; two grandchildren, Karin Anne Beightol Boeck and husband Troy R. Boeck of South Pittsburg, TN; Brandon Kent Beightol and wife Tara R. Beightol of Burke, VA. Five great grand-children; Emily Jo Boeck, Ty Robin Boeck, Raegan McKenzie Beightol, Jake Rylan Beightol, and Macyn Kate Beightol; many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Alcoa First United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Green and Rev. Bill Shelton officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Church.
