Anna Margaret Sands

Anna Margaret Loveday Sands - age 93 passed away at her home in Friendsville early December 7, 2018. She was born January 16, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Sands; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Jane and Russell Kilgore ; parents, Sam Houston and Stella Hammontree Loveday; brothers and sisters in-law , Sam H. Loveday Jr. and Anna Lee, Howard Laymond Loveday and Georgia, Charles Raymond Loveday and Hope; brother, John L. Loveday. Survivors include several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Imogene Loveday and her longtime neighbor, caregiver and friend Eloise M. Hoyt. For several years, her life was made happy with adopted grandchildren Morgan Dupuy Yates and Samuel Dupuy. Deep appreciation goes out to Amedisys Hospice especially Heather, April and Angie for the care they gave her in her illness to the end. To Elise LaMontagne who assisted in her last years care and to Hazen and Deborah Hall who cared for grounds keeping and home repairs. Family and friends will meet 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Pine Grove Cemetery in Greenback for a graveside service with Rev. Ron Sabo officiating.
