Anna Margaret “Mig” Clemens Bailey passed from this earth to glory Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Baptist West Hospital. Born January 15, 1918 she lived most of her life in Mentor, TN where she was, until her leave taking, the oldest living charter member of Immanuel Methodist Church. She taught the women’s Sunday School Class there for many years. Eight years ago she moved to assisted living. She was preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Edward Josh Bailey; father, Ambrose Clemens; mother, Carrie Clemens Lucas; son, Timothy; loved brothers and sister. Those surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Carreen “Cari” and Henry Hansen of Knoxville; sons, Howard Bailey of Memphis and John Bailey of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Kristin, Shannon, and Erik Hansen and wife Ashley, Laura, and Elisabeth Bailey; sister, Alma Mauney of Blairsville, GA; brother, Rev. A. C. Clemens of Indianapolis, IN; in addition to the immediate family, she also leaves a beloved niece, Betty Weaver; and many friends at Heritage Assisted Living. We will miss her. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Howe officiating. The interment will follow in Middlesettlements Cemetery.
