Andrea Dawn Jewell

Andrea Dawn Jewell, born February 10, 1941, passed away Tuesday morning December 12th, 2023, in peace at home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Hillard and Mary Kay Hillard; her mother-in-law, Thelma Jewel and father-in-law, Rufus Jewel; her brother, RB Hillard and special niece, Tammy Low; and nephew, Rocky Jones. She is survived by her dear beloved husband of 63 years, Rufus Jewell and son Brett Jewell; Brett's girlfriend, Tosha McKinney also Andrea’s nurse; her sister, Tony Jones, her nephew Tommy Jones, great nephew, Mitchell Jones and great niece, Kaylee Glover; also niece, Rose Simpson; and beloved friends, Becky Rich and Brenda Bledsoe; sister-in-law; Evelyn Hillard. Andrea was a graduate of Carter high School where she then went on to Draughons Business School and received a bachelor’s in business. She was employed at First Tennessee Bank where she retired from after 33 years. She was a member at Alcoa First Baptist Church and was a super hero to her son, Brett. Andrea never came into contact with an animal she didn't feed and love. She will truly be missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Alcoa First Baptist Church.
