Amy Michelle Clark Arwood

Amy Michelle Clark Arwood, age 48, went to be with her heavenly father on September 30, 2019. Amy attended Forest Hill Baptist Church. Amy was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and faithful member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. Amy’s passion for the band was her heart and soul. She never missed a homecoming game and marching with the alumni band. Her daughter, Sara is following in her mother’s footsteps. Amy also had a degree as a paralegal. She was employed Clayton/Vanderbilt Mortgage for 19 years. Thank you to her co-workers at Vanderbilt Mortgage for all of their support and prayers during Amy’s illness. Amy was loved by all that knew her. Amy was a kind and giving person. Amy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Milo and Nadine Clark, Harry and Margaret Berry; sister, Barbara Elizabeth Clark.

She is survived by her husband, John Arwood; daughter, Sara Clark; mother, Linda Bell Tucker and husband, Jim; father, Michael Clark and wife, Jolene; mother-in-law, Linda Arwood; brother-in-law, Kenny Arwood and wife, Susan, David Arwood and wife, Cindy; sister-in-law, Teresa Ellis, Christy Wilson and husband, Rex; uncle, Ron Berry and wife, Marsha; cousin, Brad Berry.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 with the service to follow at 7:00 PM at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, TN with Rev. Gary Thomas and Gene Wood officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Forest Hill Baptist Church for the interment.
