April 25, 1918 — May 16, 2006

THOMPSON, Alma Arminda, age 88 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Springview Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Thompson. Survivors include her children, James and Nit Thompson, Dorothy and Clarence Croft, Carl and Linda Thompson, Norma Wilkie and Ray Headrick, Patricia and Mike Roberts all of Maryville; grandchildren, James and Johnny Thompson, Sherley Martin, Tommy and David Long, Rebecca Clevenger, Tonya Godfrey, Millie Hubbs, Kevin Gryder, Stacy Fox, Nikki and Emily Roberts; 18 great grandchildren; nieces, Wilma Cobb and Anita Shannon both of GA. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Tallent and Rev. Guy Milam officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
