Allen L. England

Allen L. England, age 85 of Maryville, passed away peacefully at his home on June 1^st, 2024, at 5:37 PM. Allen served his country in the US Air Force and retired after serving 20 years. He then went to work at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL as Head of Safety and Security. After leaving the Mayo Clinic he then went to work at the Blount County Sheriff’s Office where he worked for 10 years. He was a member of Pecks memorial Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Denest and Ruth England, and his sister, Hazel Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian L. England; his children, Beth A. Bingston, Denny (Janet) England, Allison (Bob) Edwards, Greg (Amy) England, and Patrick (Jennifer) England; mother of his children, Charlotte Ann Killian England; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 stepsons, Neil Huffaker and Jay Eubanks, and his brother, Dave (Susan) England. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with full military honors.
