Alfred Nicholas Jacobson

Alfred Nicholas Jacobson, age 97, passed peacefully at home in his sleep 12-26-23. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on 12-17-26 to Thomas & Sarah Jacobson. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. He worked as an insurance underwriter for over 40 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years. He served as an electronics mate on a destroyer in the US Navy during World War II, enlisting at the young age of 17. He was a faithful member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Staten Island, NY, and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa. 

He leaves behind his loving wife of almost 72 years, Grace Pittarelli Jacobson, his daughter Christine Marie Coder (Christopher) and son Eric Francis (Paola). He was preceded in death by his oldest son Lawrence Jude. We tremendously thank the UT Hospice team who were truly angels who lovingly cared for our daddy. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Saturday 12-30-23 at 11:00 am.
