Alan Rex Dockery

Alan Rex Dockery, age 61 of Friendsville, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the University of TN Medical Center. He enjoyed racing, playing pool, fishing and his dog Max. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margie Dockery and sister, Georgia Hawkins. Survivors include his brother, Carl Dockery; sisters, Patricia Dalton (Tom) and Brenda Simerly (Gary); several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; special nephew, Talmadge (Bo) Dockery; special niece, Joanna Hodge; best friend, David Huskey. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Morganton Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Gary Simerly officiating.
