Robert (Bob) Eugene Norton

Robert (Bob) Eugene Norton, age 85, of Maryville passed into his eternal home in heaven on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Bob was a loving and faithful companion to his wife Mildred for 62 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Marie Norton; daughters, Barbara Teffeteller, Delores King, Teresa Norton.

He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Mildred Marie Moody Norton; siblings, Jimmy (Nancy) Norton, George (Teresa) Norton, Joe Norton, Clerilinda Mynatt; daughters, Dianne (Jerry) Hodge, Debra Johnson; grandchildren, Teresa Norton, Randy Lane, Travis Lane, Dalton Dixon, Billy King; great-grandchildren, Dreama Lane, Anthoney Lane, Austin Lane; great-great-grandchildren, Declan Dixon, Remi Jo Dixon, Neyland Malone.

Bob loved his family dearly and was a dedicated, hardworking employee of Roadway Express for 32 years where he was the top man in miles driven. He was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church for more than 25 years.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, Saturday, November 4, 2023, at New Hope Baptist Church and the service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mike Parker officiating. The interment will be after the service at Prospect Cemetery.
