Ralph Andrew Lequire

Ralph Andrew “Andy” Lequire, age 65 passed away August 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillie Lequire; sister, Nellie Hickman; brothers, Steve Smith, Ralph Lequire and Alfred “Chub” Lequire.

Andy was an outstanding football player during his years at Porter High School. He loved playing softball in the recreation leagues. Later his hobbies were bowling, riding his bicycle, singing, and playing the guitar.

Andy is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Mahalia Lequire; his sons, Jacob “Jake” Lequire, Drew Lequire; stepdaughter, Moriah Johnson; stepson, Izak Johnson; brothers, Wayne Smith, Mike Smith, Bill Smith and wife, Norma; sister-in-law, Kim Smith; uncle, JP Hickman (a father figure); niece, Tina Burns and husband, Robert; nephews, Hugh Smith and wife, Amanda, Michael Smith, Ernie Smith and wife, Kim, John Burns and wife, Stacie; niece, Megan O’Niel and husband, Will.

Andy chose to be cremated and no celebration of life.
