Luella M. Gumeringer

Luella M. Gumeringer, age 91 passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024, in Maryville, TN. Luella was born

on October 4, 1932, in St. John Hospital, St. John, ND. She was a 1951 graduate of St. John High School and went on to attend and graduate from Fargo Hairdressing Academy in 1952.

She worked for more than 70+ years as a hairdresser, at one time owning her own beauty salon. She also worked at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Rugby, ND, dedicating her time to care for the sick.

Luella, who was a fiercely faithful woman, loved attending Mass and spending time with her children, family, and friends.

She is survived by her children, John and Mary Ann; sister, Loretta Richard; grandchildren, Christopher O'Donnell (Caitlin), Erin Keller (Michael), Nicholas Gehringer (Deena), and Emily Breeden (Ty); and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Earl Gehringer and second husband Ray Gumeringer, brothers, Gerald and Leo and sister, Alice Witteman.

Luella's Celebration of Life and funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City, TN at a later date. She will be laid to rest in TN, near her children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren.
